ornwall
isn't the remote, isolated county it used to be.
A greatly
improved road network has made it more accessable without spoiling
its rugged charm and individuality.
In Boscastle
all the day to day requirements are amply catered for by the Village
shops and amenities. As the current winter population of 900 will
vouch, there is no real need to travel further. However, within
easy driving distance are the towns of Launceston, Bude and Wadebridge
with an interesting mix of shops boutiques and restaurants. while
the Tamar Bridge and Plymouth are only 45 minutes away by car.
With modern
facilities, local shops and unspoilt charm, Boscastle really can
boast the best of both worlds, thanks to the National Trust, it
will remain that way.
